The production of frequency converter symbols in electrical CAD

CAD refers to CAD (Computer Aided Design), that is, using computers and their graphic equipment to help designers with design work. Electrical CAD refers to the use of CAD software in the field of electrical design to help electrical engineers or relevant electrical personnel in engineering and product design, and help designers undertake calculation, information storage, drawing and other work, so as to improve the rate of electrical design and reduce the repetition of labor and error rate. Electrical CAD software has powerful functions, and mastering it skillfully is of great help to the design and standardization of technical process documents in the process of engineering drawing design, work data query and academic paper writing of electrical related professionals. At present, there are many electrical CAD software, and the results of electrical drawing are the same, mainly focusing on the drawing of electrical schematic diagram, terminal wiring diagram, material list, layout drawing, wiring list, etc

with the emergence of new electrical technology and products, there are no new product electrical symbols in the component library of electrical CAD software, so it is difficult to draw electrical schematic diagram, terminal wiring diagram, material list, layout drawing and wiring list. This paper gives an example of a new type of intelligent electrical component, frequency converter, which is not in the electrical components of the current electrical CAD software, and discusses it with chengchuang electrical CAD software from three aspects: the production of schematic symbols, the production of wiring diagram symbols, and the logical relationship between the two symbols in the component library

1 production of schematic symbols of frequency converter

the production of electrical schematic symbols has produced foam with high strength, negligible acidity, no smoldering combustion and low thermal conductivity. The steps are as follows:

(1) install and run chengchuang electrical CAD software

(2) create a new file and select the sample version. In this example, select GB_ A3 named plot styles template, and then save the file

(3) return to the "model" interface and draw the frame. Select "border drawing" in the "auxiliary" menu bar, and select the standard view frame "A4" in the "border drawing" dialog box, and make the drawing direction the default value. After clicking the "draw" button, drag the mouse to the right and up at the starting position of the coordinates of the model interface to draw an appropriate border

(4) draw auxiliary lines. The auxiliary line only plays the role of locating the position of the terminal block. Because the distance between the three-phase conductors and the distance between the component terminals in the electrical drawing software is fixed, the distance between the self-made symbol terminals cannot be located without the auxiliary line. If the distance between the drawing terminals and the distance between the three-phase lines do not match, there will be an error that the conductor and the terminal block cannot be connected when drawing the schematic diagram, After the electrical symbol is made, delete the auxiliary line

(5) draw the outline of the schematic symbol, that is, the outer frame where the component symbol is compared with the same force value point on the dial as the standard tensile sample. Select the "logic block" command in the "library" menu to open the "logic supply pressure is mainly reflected in the upper block of the packaging paper industry" tool, select the "logic diagram drawing" column, and select the "Outline" drawing in the "wiring diagram block drawing" dialog box. When a suitable rectangular box is dragged out in the middle of the auxiliary line, the command prompt line of the electrical drawing software displays "four prompts: selection form: solid line + square corner 1, solid line + rounded corner 2, dotted line + square corner 3, dotted line + rounded corner 4". In this example, select 2, because the component outline of the schematic library is "solid line + rounded corner"

(6) insert the name of the converter terminal, i.e. serial number or text symbol. Select "text function" in the "auxiliary" menu bar, and click the "writing text" tab to open the text input dialog box. Add the text symbol r of the first pin to the box, change the "word height" to 3, and click the "place" button. The mouse arrow follows an R letter. Move the mouse to the appropriate position below the first pin and click once to place the symbol of the first pin, and so on. Enter the text symbols in other areas. The name and model of the frequency converter shall be written in the outer box of the component symbol, and the produced frequency converter schematic symbol is shown in Figure 1

(7) save the produced symbols to the "symbol library". Select the "symbol library" command in the "library" menu, open the "symbol library", click the "add index" button, enter the index name as "frequency converter", click the "symbol add" button, and enter the symbol name. The brand of the frequency converter in this example is the Micromaster 440 general frequency converter in Siemens Micromaster series, namely "MM440". Select the finished symbol and press the "spacebar". The command prompt line displays "please select the insertion point of the block". Each terminal is clicked once, and a total of 26 yellow numbers appear in sequence, 1, 2, 3... And the command prompt line displays again: "please select the connection point [ u ] cancel the previous point ] [ e ] end ] prompt, enter e to end the operation, and the finished symbol can be saved to the component library, as shown in Figure 2

the first three steps of the manufacturing process of wiring diagram symbols are the same as the manufacturing process of schematic diagram symbols. I won't repeat the details here. Then I will continue with the following three steps

(1) select the "draw terminal" command in the "principle" menu bar to open the "terminal designer", select "square terminal", and enter 15 for "quantity". When writing the terminal name, if the width of a square terminal is not enough, merge 2-3 square terminals to meet the requirements of terminal letter length. Select "upper leader" to draw 15 terminals, and then select "lower leader" to draw 15 terminals

(2) merge square terminals. Click the "merge terminals" button in the "terminal designer", select two terminals in grid 4 and grid 5 from left to right, and press the "spacebar" to merge. 14 square terminals are formed above the wiring diagram symbol, and 14 square terminals are formed below, corresponding to each terminal on the schematic diagram symbol

(3) mark "terminal label". Click the "label" button in the "terminal designer", select all terminals and press the "spacebar", the first terminal will appear "red circle" display, enter the number "R" in the command prompt line and press the "spacebar", the second terminal will automatically appear "red circle" display, enter "s" and press the "spacebar" again. Enter the numbers of all terminals by analogy. At the same time, note that two identical terminal symbols cannot appear in the wiring diagram symbols, otherwise they cannot be stored. The symbols of the prepared inverter wiring diagram are shown in Figure 3

(4) calculate the marking position. Select the "logic block" command in the "auxiliary" menu to open the "logic block" tool, and click the "calculate Annotation" button to calculate the annotation position. The calculated annotation position is shown in Figure 4

(5) store the wiring diagram symbols into the logic diagram library. The schematic symbols are stored in the schematic symbol library, and the wiring diagram symbols are stored in the logic symbol library, which should be paid special attention to. Select the "logical library" command in the "library" menu to open the logical library. Click the "add index" button, enter the index name "frequency converter", click the "add" button, enter the logic diagram symbol name, enter "MM440", and press the "OK" button. Select the logic diagram symbol after drawing, press the "enter" button, and the command prompt line displays the prompt "please confirm the block base point and press enter to return". After inserting the base point, the logical symbol is automatically stored in the logical symbol library

(6) establish the logical relationship between schematic symbols and wiring diagram symbol pins. Select "frequency converter" in the "index name" of the pop-up "logic dialog box", enter "r s t Pe1 12345678928 U V W Pe2 1819212242325" in the "pin number", make the pin number of the logic symbol correspond to the 26 base points in the schematic symbol, and click the "add" button. The logical relationship between schematic symbols and wiring diagram symbols is matched. The pins of schematic symbols and wiring diagram symbols must be one-to-one corresponding. Without the logical relationship between schematic symbols and wiring diagram symbols, terminal wiring diagram cannot be formed. The logical relationship between the schematic symbols of the frequency converter and the symbolic pins of the wiring diagram is shown in Figure 5. Figure 5 the logical relationship between the schematic symbols of the frequency converter and the pins of the wiring diagram symbols

3 the relationship between the schematic symbols and the wiring diagram symbols in the component library

select the "component library" command in the "drawing library" menu to open the "component library", select "low voltage apparatus" in the index, press the "add" button, enter "MM440" in the model tab, omit the specification, and enter "frequency converter" in the name, Press the "wiring logic" tab, click the "wiring diagram library" button on the right, select "frequency converter" in the directory, and finally get the torque under different tensile loads in the graphic list on the right. Select "MM440" in the angle change curve, click the "select" button, and then click the "OK" button to determine the relationship between the schematic symbols and wiring diagram symbols in the component library. The relationship between the frequency converter schematic symbols and wiring diagram symbols in the component library is shown in Figure 6

4 conclusion

this method is used to make the electrical symbols of new products, and the logical relationship between the symbols is established. After drawing the electrical control schematic diagram, it is very convenient to realize the automatic generation of terminal wiring diagram, material list, layout drawing and wiring list by electrical CAD software
